The 18" carbon steel El Salvador is one of the most robust of the Latin-pattern machetes that Condor offers. While the EcoSurvivor and the stainless El Salvador models feature light blades, the carbon models are a full 1/8" thick. This extra mass allows the 18" carbon El Salvador to hit harder while retaining all of the advantages of the versatile Latin pattern's profile. A heavy-hitting machete with a general-use blade shape and a good balance between reach and ease of carry. Comes with a high-quality leather sheath.
