Our goal is to provide access to hand-selected quality knives and accessories that provide maximum value at affordable pricing backed by outstanding customer care. All items that arrive at our store are hand-inspected for quality assurance purposes. Any items that fail this stringent inspection process are either returned to the manufacturer for replacement or, if the defect is only cosmetic, sold at discount in our "Grade B" items page. These items are still backed by manufacturer warranty and are NOT seconds! They are, rather, items that slipped past factory quality control or meet factory standards but not our own. While there are some issues that even we cannot catch, this additional inspection process saves countless customers from facing unexpected disappointment upon receiving a new and exciting tool.

If making a phone order, we currently only accept credit cards through our secure online checkout process. If you wish to make a phone order we accept money orders or personal checks. While you may place check orders by phone, we prefer that you email us with your order information instead, if possible, so that we have a written receipt of the relevant information.

Please Note! We take customer service seriously at Baryonyx Knife Company, so when you call it goes straight to the owner! As the phone associated with this number is used for both business and personal use, do not expect a company greeting when your call is accepted, as we often cannot tell if the incoming call is business-related until the call is accepted. Thanks!

Shipping Information:

Orders are processed and shipped in the order they are received. We strive to package and ship items as quickly as possible, but are a small family-owned business and not without fault. If you think your order may have slipped through the cracks, feel free to rattle our cage!

Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:

As the vast majority of our items are hand inspected before leaving our shop we ask that customers wishing to return merchandise send us an email stating their name, order number, item they wish to return, and reason for return to receive authorization and instructions for the return. Any products returned without first receiving authorization will be returned to the sender. Items returned must be in as-purchased condition and returned in original packaging. International sales are final, and while we do our best to package items securely, we cannot assume responsibility for damage in transit. Insurance against loss or damage should be requested by the buyer at time of purchase if desired and associated charges will apply.

We ask that any items found to be defective be addressed first with the manufacturer. In addition to being best able to furnish a replacement, manufacturers are able to improve their product by examining returned products. You never know--your return could inspire a change in their production process, or even spark an idea for a whole new item! If, however, you are unable to receive satisfaction with the manufacturer we will be happy to see what we can do to ensure a resolution is reached!

Any non-defective items authorized for return are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and Special Grade service charges are non-refundable. Please note that while we do our best to take accurate measurements of products to represent their qualities to our buyers, many of our products are handmade or make use of hand-operated manufacturing methods and while our item measurements are taken directly from actual examples of the tools in question there may be some degree of natural variability in the particular example of that product that you receive. These variations are not considered defects. Thank you for your understanding!
