Stylized after the classic duku chandong style of parang, the Village Parang features a thicker and heftier blade to deal with rough use in the North American environment. A compact and versatile hatchet replacement, these wear well on the hip or on the pack and can be used for a wide range of cutting, chopping, splitting, and shaping tasks. The blade finish is different from that in the product image, and is more subtle and attractive in appearance. Comes with a high quality leather sheath.
If selecting the Special Grade option we will thin and polish the factory edge for increased cutting performance.
