Used in the off hand to gather vegetation to be cut with a meadow hook, corn hook, or machete. Gathering the stalks puts tension on them, making them easier to cut, and holds them in alignment for tidy cleanup. Can be used together with the cutting tool like extensions of the hands to pick up the cut material for collection or disposal. A more handy tool than one might realize until using one! Light, durable, and economical. Fully welded steel construction with a turned beech handle.
