The standard workhorse pattern of Italy, to the point where it's called the "Normale" pattern, this axe is ready to become your own fast favorite. The deep bit gives excellent clearance in a chop, and facilitates twist-splitting technique while its thinness and width (though not so wide as a "Trento" pattern) makes for deep-biting blows that easily find their mark. 1100g nominal head weight.
Outfitted with one of our custom American-made hickory handles for improved balance, this speedy axe is sure to make you smile as soon as you pick it up!
