Standard Cadore pattern axes are often modified by Italians for use in competitive cutting, and Rinaldi produced this incredible dedicated racing axe in response. The eye of a Cadore axe with an extra broad bit like a thick-cheeked Trento pattern, this beast of a chopper obliterates even seasoned hardwoods with ease.
These come with Rinaldi's standard fit/finish rather than the extra lavishing often given to racing axes by other manufacturers, so if intending to use it for actual competitive cutting you'll want to spend a little extra time finishing it out to your preference. However, while intended as a competitive design, by being left at their standard finish this axe makes an excellent choice for more mundane tasks that benefit from a heavy head. 1800g head.
If selecting the Special Grade option we will thin and refine the factory edge for general utility work.
