Installation is made easy with the included hex key and stainless steel machine screws and self-clinching fasteners. The additional purchase and pressure mitigation of the scales allow for improved comfort in heel-braced awl-like applications of the point, greater torque when boring or breaking from the cut, and improved grip security when making difficult cuts in resistant material.
